Desperately seeking PHP 5.3
PHP 5.2 is end of life and I've just been told that there's no ETA for 5.3 (in March 2010 I was told it would be ~6 months to the latest stable). It's increasingly difficult for developers to keep hosting with Gradwell. Please make 5.3 available soon!

1Hello Paul and Martin,
My apologies in the delay of the update.
The current plan at Gradwell is to introduce a PHP 5.3.X cluster from the 1st of May for customers to migrate to immediately if they choose to. At this point we will then send out an End of Life statement for all customers on the PHP 5.2.X system, the length of this notice hasn't been agreed yet. At the end of this notice all customers will be moved automatically.
We will be using PHP 5.3.3 as this is currently the packaged version with Debian squeeze.
Thank you,
Tom

Hello Martin and Paul,
We are discussing this internally now and I will provide you both with an official statement on this on the 21st of this month. I have also moved this into the ideas section where I think it should sit.
Thank you,

many thanks for the update
However I have moved my domains and requested my account be closed as i couldn’t wait forever for something that should be done as priority
Please keep me informed as I have many other customers with their own accounts with yourselves who will be wanting new websites soon. If PHP can’t be upgraded then they will have to move as well.
Thanks for the reply

Thanks also for the update.
I'm in a similar position to Paul - I've moved to a new hosting provider for new business and plan to migrate the Gradwell hosted domains in the short to medium term. -
