How about a Accept Call Function?
When a mobile user receives a forwarded call from Gradwell VoIP services, he has to press a number on his keypad to connect the call.
This is mainly designed for mobile users and stops calls being sent to the mobiles personal voice mail box.

Hi,
We will certainly consider this functionality as it appears to be popular, however we will need to assess how it will integrate with our platform. We will continue to investigate the feasibility of this feature and post any further updates here.
Thanks,
Ben

Was just about to post the exact same request. Certainly a good idea. Will be good for mobile users on multiple call groups too if the extension the customer is ringing is mentioned in this prompt.

Of course if you are like me and lazy you could turn Voicemail off on the mobile. I never use it as it leaves a customer wondering why they have gone to a mobile number.

I agree this is a solution and it would indeed work. However, you a) do not want your routed Business calls answered/intercepted by your personal mobile voice-mail and b) turning off voicemail is not an option for everyone.

Did this ever get any consideration. I, for one, would welcome such a feature very much

I do not think this has got enough positive feedback to warrant further consideration. The problem is mainly for small businesses or 1-man-bands who are out of the office a lot and do not want a diverted call answered by their mobile voicemail.

Hi, It would be really useful when forwarding extension calls to a mobile device on multiuser voip package to have the optional requirement for the user to push a dtmf key to confirm its a human thats answered and not the mobile operators voicemail service. This would really help us out!!
- was just about to post that... would be very useful -

Again thinking that this would be very useful, thus allowing me to use 1 mobile for both personal and work.. I think to add to this great Idea you have to press say 2 to answer call, 5 to reject call, 8 to put call onto voice mail, giving even better control of the call..

When mobiles are on a Hunt Group that may be off or out of range, the phone automatically answers the call. Snom One told us they have call whispering so when a diverted call goes to mobile, you have to dial 1 to accept. Otherwise it ignores it. Can you do that?
This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
Must press 1 to accept diverted calls to mobiles. -

Any updates on this feature? It has been brewing for a long time and the Snom One software allows this to happen so I hope the technology can be made to work.

1 year ago? I guess this very useful feature may never make it to Gradwell. If anyone checks this, please consider again its implementation, I use it with another provider and it is a simple solution to a deal breaking problem for some (one of our customers with another provider won't move without it). It would complete your, otherwise excellent, feature list.
